'Zitti, zitti... piano, piano': From 24th to 27th March performance for schools at the Teatro Lirico di Cagliari

On Wednesday 24th March at 11am at the Teatro Lirico di Cagliari, the educational-musical activities dedicated to schools begin again; four performances by the Teatro Lirico Orchestra, conducted by Sandro Sanna. Fulvio Fogliazza is the Chorus master. The performance, entitled Zitti, zitti... piano, piano is presented by the well-known comedian Massimiliano Medda from Cagliari, with miming by Pierpaolo Corda and the participation of the students, who interact with the music using costumes and props.

The musical programme, designed for all Sardinian school pupils includes: The magic flute: Overture by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart; Don Pasquale: Che interminabile andirivieni by Gaetano Donizetti; La Traviata: Coro di zingarelle, Coro di mattadori by Giuseppe Verdi; The barber of Seville: Symphony by Gioachino Rossini; Rigoletto: Zitti, zitti; Il Trovatore: Coro di zingari by Giuseppe Verdi; I Shardana: Le voci dell’universo by Ennio Porrino; Macbeth: Tre volte miagola; Nabucco: Va pensiero by Giuseppe Verdi; Carmen: Preludio by Georges Bizet.

The performance of an hour is repeated, at 11am on Thursday 25th, Friday 26th and Saturday 27th March.
