The
2008-2009 Concert Season at the Teatro Lirico di Cagliari continues with its sixteenth appointment, on
Friday 20th at 8.30pm (session A) and
Saturday 21st March at 7pm (session B). The young Slovenian conductor,
Juraj Valčuha, will be conducting the
Teatro Lirico Orchestra, for the first time.
Alexander Lonquich the exceptional German soloist will be performing on the piano.
The musical programme includes:
Oberon: overture by Carl Maria von Weber;
Concerto n. 1 in E minor for piano and orchestra by Fryderyk Chopin;
Symphony n. 1 in G minor op. 13 by Pëtr Il’ič Čajkovskij.
