On Thursday 29th July at 9pm, in Piazza San Sebastiano, Segariu, the Teatro Lirico musical activities around Sardinia continue with seven performances dedicated to symphonic music. Sandro Sanna conducts the Teatro Lirico Orchestra, and the soloists are: Luca Maria Leone (horn) and Pasquale Iriu (clarinet).

The musical programmae includes: Lucio Silla: Overture K 135, Le nozze di Figaro: Overture K 492 by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart; Concertino for clarinet op. 26 by Carl Maria von Weber; Concerto for horn and orchestra in D minor by Giuseppe Saverio Mercadante; Symphony n. 40 K 550 by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

The other six performances are: Sunday 1st August at 9pm at the Lazzaretto di Sant’Elia, Cagliari; Monday 2nd August at 9pm at the Arena Mirastelle, Carbonia; Wednesday 4th August at 9pm at the Centro Santa Barbara, Iglesias; Thursday 5th August 5th August at 9pm in Piazza del Comune, Pula; Friday 6th August at 9pm at the Teatro Garau, Oristano, and Saturday 7th August at 9pm at the Teatro La Vetreria, Cagliari-Pirri.

The performance is subsidized by the Fondazione Banco di Sardegna and is realised in collaboration with the Regione Autonoma della Sardegna and the Town Councils of Cagliari, Carbonia, Iglesias, Oristano, Pula and Segariu.
