On
Wednesday 26th November at 11am, in
the Orchestra Rehearsal Hall at the Teatro Lirico di Cagliari, the musical educational activities, dedicated mainly to schools as part of “
Un’Isola di Musica 2008-2009” will be starting up again. There will be four performances, entitled
Due + Due: a concert for four soloists, involving the
Teatro Lirico Orchestra, conducted by
Cristiano Del Monte with
Ivana Mauri,
Pasquale Iriu (clarinet),
Sandro Fontoni,
Simone Guarneri (double bass) as soloists. The musicologist
Gian Nicola Spanu, as narrator, will be presenting the performance.
The musical programme includes:
Concerto for two clarinets and orchestra op. 35 by František Vincenc Krommer;
Passione amorose for two double basses and strings orchestra by Giovanni Bottesini;
La finta semplice K. 51: overture by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
