The 2007-2008 Concert Season at the Teatro Lirico di Cagliari, continues with its sixteenth performance, on Wednesday 5th March at 8.30pm (Band A). The Emerson String Quartet, an outstanding American chamber ensemble: violinists Eugene Drucker and Philip Setzer, violist Lawrence Dutton and cellist David Finckel, will perform for the first time in Cagliari, in a unique evening dedicated entirely to this acclaimed and refined classical quartet.

The musical programme includes: Quartet in B flat major "The Hunt" K. 458 by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart; Quartet in C minor op. 18 No. 4 by Ludwig van Beethoven; Quartet in A minor D. 804 by Franz Schubert.

The 2007-2008 Concert Season is subsidized by the Fondazione Banco di Sardegna and is accomplished in collaboration with the Azienda e Vigneto Feudi della Medusa.
