The Teatro Lirico’s 2008-2009 Concert Season continues with its fifth performance, on Saturday 6th December at 7pm (session A): a unique evening not to be missed, dedicated to the musical genius Johann Sebastian Bach. La Petite Bande, a refined Belgian Ensemble founded in 1972 will be performing. Sigiswald Kuijken conducts the ensemble, which specializes in Baroque music and plays on original instruments.

The soloists are: soprano Gerlinde Sämann, contralto Petra Noskaiová, tenor Christoph Genz and bass Jan van der Crabben.

The evenings programme includes: Advent Cantatas: Nun komm, der Heiden Heiland BWV 62; Schwingt freudig euch empor BWV 36; Bereitet die Wege, bereitet die Bahn! BWV 132; Nun komm, der Heiden Heiland BWV 61 by Johann Sebastian Bach.
