The 2008-2009 Concert Season continues with its eighth performance at the Teatro Lirico Cagliari, on Friday 23rd January at 8.30pm (session A) and Saturday 24th January at 7pm (session B): the Teatro Lirico Orchestra and Chorus, conducted by Helmuth Rilling, will perform Georg Friedrich Händel’s most famous creation, Messiah, an oratorio in 3 parts. The soloists are: Laura Albino (soprano), Sara Mingardo (contralto), Thomas Cooley (tenor), Gabor Bretz (baritone). Fulvio Fogliazza is the Chorus master.
