The Teatro Lirico di Cagliari Foudation will be holding a selection for young female apprentice dancers to take part in the Teatro alla Scala’s production of the ballet "A Midsummer Nights Dream", choreography George Balanchine, music Mendelsshon, on stage from 19th–30th September 2009, for the 2009 Opera and Ballet Season.

Candidates must fullfil the following requirements:
- be aged between 11 and 14
- have adeguate classical dance education (intermediate level)
- availability to partecipate in rehearsals and the performances that will be programmed by the Management from 6th-18th July and 7th–30th September 2009.
