Il solista, l’orchestra e la danza: From 3rd to 5th March performance for schools at the Teatro Lirico di Cagliari
On Wednesday 3rd March at 11am at the Teatro Lirico di Cagliari, the musical activities dedicated to schools start up again; three appointments with the Teatro Lirico Orchestra, conducted by Marco Zuccarini, in a performance entitled Il solista, l’orchestra e la danza, with Riccardo Ghiani as soloist. The performance includes three models of classical music: Overture, Concerto for solo instrument and orchestra, and Symphony. The solo instrument in this case is the flute, which will be played analysed in detail by the flutist and also with the help of a film.
The musical programme, dedicated to all schools in Sardinia, includes: Don Giovanni: Overture by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart; Concerto for flute and orchestra N. 7 in E minor by François Devienne; Fourth Symphony in A major “Italiana”: Saltarello by Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy; Arlesiana suite N. 2: Farandole, Carmen Suite N. 1: Aragonaise, Carmen Suite N. 2: Habanera by Georges Bizet; Trish Trash Polka, The Blue Danube by Johann Strauss.
The performance of approximately one hour will be repeated on Thursday 4th March and Friday 5th March at 11am.
