On Wednesday 20th January at 11am in the Orchestra Rehearsal Room at the Teatro Lirico di Cagliari, the musical activities dedicated to schools start up again; ten appointments with the Teatro Lirico Chorus, conducted by Fulvio Fogliazza, in a performance entitled Ragazzi, all’opera!, which includes pieces from the operatic choral repertoire introduced and dramatized by Gisella Vacca, with the aid of props and theatrical costumes. Andrea Mudu accompanies on the piano.

The programme is aimed at Sardinian of all ages and from all types of schools and includes soemof the most popular choral opera pieces: Orpheus and Euridice by Christoph Willibald Gluck; Lucia di Lammermoor by Gaetano Donizetti; L’elisir d’amore by Gaetano Donizetti; Don Pasquale by Gaetano Donizetti; La sonnambula by Vincenzo Bellini; Cosi fan tutte by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart; Die Fledermaus by Johann Strauss; Luisa Miller by Giuseppe Verdi; La Traviata by Giuseppe Verdi.

Ragazzi, all’opera!, a performance of about an hour is repeated on Thursday 21st, Friday 22nd, Saturday 23rd, Monday 25th, Tuesday 26th, Wednesday 27th, Thursday 28th, Friday 29th, Saturday 30 January. All the performances are at 11am.
