On Friday 29th February at 10am at the Teatro Lirico di Cagliari and Saturday 1st March at 11am in the Teatro Lirico di Cagliari Rehearsal Room, the educational programme for schools will continue with a choral tribute dedicated to Gioachino Rossini, entitled Rossiniana. The performance foresees the participation of the Teatro Lirico Orchestra, conducted by Rino Campanale during the first part and by Simone Pittau during the second part , and Francesca Morescalchi and Mario Torella di Romagnano as choreographers and dancers.

The musical programme is intended particularly for primary schools, middle schools, high schools, and for the Sardinian art schools. It has been included in the event “Un’Isola di musica 2008”.
