The concert by Les Percussions de Strasbourg, on the programme for Saturday 12th December at 7pm (session B) for the Teatro Lirico’s 2009- 2010 Concert Season, has been postponed until Thursday 29th April at 8.30pm (session B)

The musical programme includes: Ionisation by Edgar Varèse; Aqba, nel soffio tuo dolce by Oscar Bianchi; Refontes by Raphaël Cendo; Sextuor de sixxens by Philippe Manoury and Hiérophonie 5 by Yoshihisa Taïra.

The concert will be performed by a truly unusual, but definitely charming instrumental ensemble, Les Percussions de Strasbourg, which was established in 1962, and is made up of six musicians who propose percussions music from the vaste repertoire of the 19th century. The evening’s concert is entitled: Un secolo di percussioni, tra classicismo e innovazione (A century of percussions, from classicism to innovation).
