Ivo Pogorelich, the talented pianist, returns to Cagliari on Saturday 28th November at 7pm (session B), to embellish the 2009-2010 Concert Season with a piano recital ranging from romanticism to Chopin, Mephistowalzer by Liszt to Valse triste by Sibelius and finally the lunar atmosphere of Ravel’s Gaspard de la nuit.

The musical programme includes: Nocturn in E flat major op. 55 n.2, Sonata in B minor op. 58 by Fryderyk Chopin; Mephistowalzer R 38 by Franz Liszt; Valse triste op. 44 (version for piano) by Jean Sibelius; Gaspard de la nuit by Maurice Ravel.
