I Puritani by Vincenzo Bellini at the Teatro Lirico di Cagliari for Prima della Prima on Rai Tre
On Tuesday 6th July at 01.40, on Rai Tre, the programme Prima della Prima is dedicated entirely to the recent production of I Puritani by Vincenzo Bellini at the Teatro Lirico di Cagliari.
The well-known programme, lasting 30 minutes, with Rosaria Bronzetti, focuses on “behind the scenes” of operatic productions. The Teatro Lirico di Cagliari report, for the television production by Daniele Deplano, was created by cutting and editing images taken from orchestra and production rehearsals, and from interviews with the main singers.
Mariella Devia, queen of eighteenth century belcanto, is the undisputed star of this edition of the Bellini masterpiece; she received unprecedented standing ovations and personal success.
