The Teatro Lirico Chorus, conducted by Fulvio Fogliazza, on tour in Cagliari for “I Suoni dell’anima”
The musical activities continue as part of the show “I Suoni dell’anima - Un’Isola di Musica 2009” by the Teatro Lirico di Cagliari, with five performances dedicated to holy music. Fulvio Fogliazza conducts the Teatro Lirico Chorus. Andrea Mudu plays the organ.
The musical programme includes: Mass in F major by Claudio Monteverdi; Ave Verum, Quam dilecta op. 148, Offertorio, Calme des nuits op. 68 n. 1 by Camille Saint-Saëns.
The show “I Suoni dell'anima” seeks to reveal the most beautiful churches, basilicas and holy buildings in Sardinia through performances of holy and religiously inspired music.
The dates are:
- Tuesday 13th October at 7.30pm, in Sant’Agostino Church,
- Wednesday 14th October at 8pm in Santa Rosalia Church;
- Thursday 15th October at 7.30pm in San Giuseppe Church, Pirri;
- Friday 16th October at 8.00pm in San Bartolomeo Church;
- Saturday 17th October at 7.30pm in Sant’Avendrace Church.
