In the October-December 2009 edition, the President, the Chief Executive and the Artistic Director of the Teatro introduce a “refined and innovative 2009-2010 Concert Season presenting “new music” at the Teatro Lirico di Cagliari thanks to interesting appearances and young talents. A special report is dedicated to Claudio Abbado, with his "elegant and prestigious baton", highlighting his talent as an artist and importance as a man.
Space is also allocated to artists who have unfortunately passed away: the Sardinian composer Ennio Porrino (the Teatro dedicated a Tribute to him in collaboration with the State Music Conservatory G.P. da Palestrina, Cagliari) and the Greek soprano Maria Callas (to whom, an exhibition has been dedicated in the stalls foyer). The producer Michele Mirabella explains how his "Malincomico Elisir" originated for the 2009 Opera and Ballet Season, followed with extreme interest, as with all the Theatre’s operas by the young participants of the project "Dalla prova alla Prima" (From rehearsals to the opening).
Finally the usual appointment with the news and main events at the Teatro Lirico in Cagliari edited by Antonello Angioni, "Cagliari scopre il cinema".
