The Teatro Lirico Chorus, conducted by Fulvio Fogliazza, on tour in Cagliari for “I Suoni dell’anima”
On Friday 23rd October at 7.00pm, in the Santuario di Sant’Ignazio da Laconi (viale Frà Ignazio, Cagliari), the musical activities continue as part of the show “I Suoni dell’anima - Un’Isola di Musica 2009” by the Teatro Lirico di Cagliari, with two performances dedicated to holy music. Fulvio Fogliazza conducts the Teatro Lirico Chorus. Andrea Mudu plays the organ.
The musical programme includes: Mass in F major by Claudio Monteverdi; Ave Verum, Quam dilecta op. 148, Offertorio, Calme des nuits op. 68 n. 1 by Camille Saint-Saëns.
The show “I Suoni dell'anima” seeks to reveal the most beautiful churches, basilicas and holy buildings in Sardinia through performances of holy and religiously inspired music.
The other performance is: Saturday 24th October at 8pm in the Parrocchia dei SS. Apostoli Pietro e Paolo (via Is Mirrionis, Cagliari).
