On Thursday 16th April, at 7pm, in the Stalls foyer at the Teatro Lirico, the musicologist Giovanni Gavazzeni will hold a presentation conference for the opera Semën Kotko by Sergej Prokof’ev. On Wednesday 22nd April at 8.30pm (session A), the opera will open the IX Festival di Sant’Efisio and the 2009 Opera and Ballet Season at the Teatro Lirico di Cagliari.

Entry to the conference is free.

Semën Kotko will also be staged on Friday 24th April at 8.30pm (session B), Sunday 26th April at 5pm (session D), Tuesday 28th April at 8.30pm (session F), Thursday 30th April at 8.30pm (session C), Saturday 2nd May at 7pm (session E), Monday 4th May at 8.30pm (session G).
