On Friday 25th April “Aperitivo in musica - Feudi della Medusa” continues in the Stalls foyer at the Teatro Lirico, Cagliari
On Friday 25th April at 11am in the stalls foyer of the Teatro Lirico di Cagliari the exhibition “Aperitivo in musica - Feudi della Medusa” continues following success of the last three years. There will be ten performances held on Sundays or holidays at 11am, with solists from the Teatro Lirico Orchestra and Chorus. “Feudi della Medusa” are delighted to invite spectators to taste some of their wines after the concerts.
The Flute Quintet made up of Riccardo Ghiani flute, Andrea Saccarola oboe, Ivana Mauri clarinet, Giuseppe Lo Curcio bassoon, Lorenzo Panebianco horn. The flowing and rare musical programme presents: Quartet in E flat major for oboe, clarinet, horn and bassoon op.8 N. 2 by Carl Philipp Stamitz; Quintet in B flat major op 56 N.1 by Franz Ignaz Danzi; Quintet in C major Op 91 N. 1 for flute, oboe, clarinet, horn and bassoon by Antonin Reicha. It is an excellent chance to listen to and become acquainted with the soloists from the Teatro Lirico, Cagliari Orchestra and Chorus in a repertoire that ranges from chamber and classical music to contemporary, touching the captivating tones of ethnic music and pop. What makes the exhibition so particular, is that the music is combined with wine: the title “Aperitivo in musica - Feudi della Medusa” comes from the wine producing company “Feudi della Medusa”, established in S. Margherita di Pula in 1996, by the couple Heide e Francesco Siclari, who have dedicated passion and research work to the company. They are leaders in the production of quality wines, native and international, and have been sponsors of the Teatro Lirico di Cagliari for three years. The company is especially involved in this musical event and after each performance offers the possibility to taste some of its fine wines, fruit of the company’s precious terroir ( a French term used in wine production that defines all the factors, from the environment and the cultivation techniques to the protection of the controlled denomination of origin). |
