Gli occhi che si fermano, first ever performance by the composer Francesco Antonioni, on Friday 8th and Saturday 9th May, for the IX Festival di Sant’Efisio at the Teatro Lirico di Cagliari
The IX Festival di Sant’Efisio at the Teatro Lirico di Cagliari continues, on Friday 8th May at 8.30pm (session A) and Saturday 9th May at 7pm (session B), with a concert which is part of the 2008-2009 Concert Season. Marko Letonja, from Sloavkia, conducts the Teatro Lirico Orchestra in a truly unique and unmissable performance. The Teatro Lirico di Cagliari commissioned the opening piece, performed for the first time: Gli occhi che si fermano, by the young composer Francesco Antonioni. The other pieces will include performances by the exceptional soloists: the violinist Sayaka Shoji, the soprano Doriana Milazzo and the narrating voice is that of the young actor Claudio Gioè from Palermo.
