On
Monday 17th december at 8:30 p.m. in
Cagliari Cathedral, Santa Maria, and on
Wednesday 26th December at 7:00 p.m. in
Nuoro Cathedral, Santa Maria della Neve, the organist
Fabrizio Marchionni will held an Organ concert, organized by the Teatro Lirico di Cagliari, on the occasion of
Christmas 2007 festivities.
The programme contemplates:
Prelude in D minor BuxWv 140, Prelude Chorale Puer natus in Bethlehem BuxWv 217 by Dietrich Buxtehude;
Pastorale in F major BWV 590 by Johann Sebastian Bach;
Concert n. 1 in F Major “The Cuckoo and the Nightingale”, HWV 295 by Georg Friedrich Handel;
Choral n. 2 in B minor by César Franck;
La Nativité du Seigneur: n. 9 Dieu parmi nous by Olivier Messiaen.
