On Wedensday 3rd February at 11am at the Teatro Lirico di Cagliari, the educational-musical activities dedicated to schools begin again; four performances by the Teatro Lirico Orchestra, conducted by Cristiano Del Monte, with the soloist, Andrea Saccarola, entitled Il solista e l’orchestra: l’oboe. Three forms of classical music are performed: Overture, Concerto for solo instrument and orchestra, and Symphony. The solo instrument, the oboe, is thoroughly examined and listened to, thanks to the help of the oboist and a video-programme.

The musical programme, designed for all Sardinian school pupils includes: Coriolan, overture in C minor Op. 62 by Ludwig van Beethoven; Concerto in C major for oboe and orchestra K. 314 by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart; Symphony in D major K. 385 “Haffner” by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

The performance of an hour is repeated, at 11am on Thursday 4th, Friday 5th and Saturday 6th February.
